Aside from its skin care benefits, Rose hibiscus whipped body butter is also budget friendly. It’s very cost-effective and can be made right straight in your own home. All you need to do is to gather the following ingredients and follow the necessary procedures.
Ingredients and Materials Needed:
1 Teaspoon of Almond Oil
1 Cup of Coconut Oil
Brewed Hibiscus Tea
Rose Absolute Essential Oil
Glass Jar with Lid
Stand Mixer
3 Tablespoon of White Sugar {Optional (for sugared rose petal)}
2 Tablespoon of Cup Water {Optional (for sugared rose petal)}
Organic Roses or Rose Petals {Optional (for sugared rose petal)}
Directions:
1. Measure out the almond oil in a medium-sized bowl.
2. Add in the coconut oil.
3. Add some drops of hibiscus tea on the mixture for colouring. You may add more to achieve your desired colour.
4. Add some drops of Rose absolute essential oil to add fragrance on the mixture. As for this mixture, we used about 8 drops.
5. Using a stand mixer, start whipping for approximately 10 minutes or until the mixture becomes fluffy and forms peaks. Beating the mixture requires a bit of patience. So just be patient and continue whipping until you finally achieved the right consistency.
Sugared Rose Petals
Sugared rose petals are used as decoration for the whipped body butter. However, the following directions are optional. If you don’t want to add these to the mixture, then you’re done. But if you wish to have these, you may follow the following steps:
6. Mix the 2 tablespoons of white sugar and 2 tablespoons of water in a pan. Boil and stir the mixture until the sugar is caramelised. Allow the syrup to cool down and dip the rose petals into it.
7. Sprinkle the rose petals with white sugar and allow it to dry overnight. Top the rose hibiscus whipped body butter with rose petals and enjoy!
