Australian made and hand crafted - Hibou Naturel – enchanted range, is a gentle and deliciously tropical smelling anti-acne skincare range.  Designed for oily, combination and acne prone skin. A few of the natural ingredients in this 3 step system are wild orange essential oil, pawpaw, vanilla infused jojoba oil and calendula.  All of these ingredients help to reduce inflammation and control the oiliness of your skin. Made from natural and certified organic ingredients, suitable for men and women, as the subdued unisex scent smells like a tropical rainforest.
The Enchanted Cleanser – a gentle cleanser containing orange essential oil to help regulate oil production and regenerate skin cells.

I love it when I can use a cleanser morning and night and feel safe in the knowledge that the ingredients are actually helping my skin.

The cleanser is a gel consistency and lathers up very nicely.

The orange essential oil also promotes collagen, so is great for anti-ageing benefits.  Rosemary extract is helpful for oily skin and improving skin tone.  I found that this cleanser throurougly cleansed my skin and kept it looking and feeling fresh and revitalised.

Ingredients: organic castile liquid soap, purified water, citrus sinensis (wild orange) essential oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) essential oil, xanthan gum
The Enchanted Tonic – naturally rebalances skin PH with the help of lavender and orange blossom infused floral water.

It reduces the size and appearance of pores and removes dirt and residue after cleansing.

A wonderful tonic to spritz on after cleansing, or even to use during the day to rejuvnate skin.   I love using this on hot summer days, espcially when I return from the beach.     The light scent is lovely and refreshing.

Ingredients: lavandula angustifolia (Lavender infused water), citrus aurantium (orange blossom) infused water
The Enchanted Lotion – containing the citric benefits of orange essential oil and pawpaw fruit extract, mango butter, grapefruit extract and infused vanilla pods.   You know that saying, if a product contains ingredients you wouldn't want to ingest, you shouldn't put it on your skin!   This is a product which actually sounds good enough to eat, the ingredients are so pure and natural.

This lotion has the perfect consistency for oily skin, I found that it moisturises perfectly, doesn't leave any residue, at the same time keeps any dryness at bay.  A wonderful and soothing after sun lotion too, I used it after I accidently had a bit too much sun over the holidays!

Ingredients: purified water, Australian Jojoba oil, mango butter, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate (natural olive oil emulsifying wax), glycerine (vegetable & palm free), citrus sinensis (wild orange) essential oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) essential oil, organic carica papaya (papaya) fruit extract, organic calendula officinalis (calendula) infused oil (sunflower) Citrus paradise (grapefruit seed extract), infused vanilla pods
The Enchanted range helped to keep my oily skin feeling clean and fresh from impurities.   No new pimples and a feeling of smoothness.

All of the Hibou products have been sourced from high quality natural ingredients and also use Australian farmed and produced or certified organic ingredients.

Free from parabens, artificial fragrances & preservatives, petroleum and sulphates. Gluten free and vegan friendly and not tested on Animals.

A really lovely and effective natural skin care system for treating acne in a gentle way, but also great for more mature skin.     These products can be safely used on teenage skin without the fear of a bad reaction.

Hibou Naturel - Deep Cleanse Yellow Mineral Clay Mask - Review

Hibou Naturel is a natural and organic skin care range made in Melbourne, their products contain only natural ingredients including essential oils and botanical extracts. The creater of Hibou Naturel originally designed this range for her daughter's skin regime, as she wanted gentle and safe products which could be used daily on pre-teen skin. Their products also suit all ages, particularly sensitive skin.

I have been using their Deep Cleanse Yellow Mineral Clay Mask and it feels absolutely beautiful.  An intense, but gentle healing mineral treatment which can be used on face and body. On first application it feels so soothing and cool and the scent is heavenly.  I wondered what made it smell so beautiful and when I looked at the ingredients I noticed it contains rose infused water.   It also contains cucumber fruit extract, which must help to give it a lovely cooling effect on my skin, along with the soothing effects of the clay.

Australian yellow clay is the main ingredient and this is the first time I have used this type of clay.   Rich in magnesium, silica and iron oxide, its powerful healing properties are valuable for restoring healthy skin tones. Yellow clay is the clay of choice for skin problems such as  dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, ulcers and acne. It gently exfoliates skin, cleanses, tones, stimulates blood circulation, draws out toxins, hydrates and  feeds your skin, without leaving it feeling dry.

Before I used this clay mask I was worried that it might end up feeling cakey on my face, but in fact, it’s the opposite, the texture of this mask is smooth and creamy and when applied makes my skin feel silky, not at all what I imagined when I first thought of clay. I found it to be nourishing and hydrating and left my skin feeling super clean and soft.    I left the mask on for 10 minutes, let the healthy minerals absorb into my skin and washed it off easily.

Free from parabens, artificial fragrances & preservatives, petroleum and sulphates.

These are the ingredients, as you can see, only pure and safe -

Ingredients: Australian yellow clay (montmorillonite, quartz, anatase), rosa damascene.miller (rose infused water), purified water, organic rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary extract), Australian Jojoba Oil, natural olive oil, organic calendula, cucumber extract.

This clay mask is effective as a cleanser and as a gentle exfoliate and gentle enough for all skin types.  It sssists in minimising pores and wrinkles, "just like a microdermabrasion in a jar without the harshness! "

I felt it gave my skin a freshness and firmness, especially when my skin was feeling tired, a very luxurious and inexpensive pick me up.

This healing clay mask can be purchased at Hibou Naturel.
