Essence of Chypre is the scent which stood out for me, followed closely by Ambre Vanilla and Land of Cedar.
Essence of Chypre eau de parfum- the top notes of this fragrance remind me of
the delicate scent of pink musk candies. The base notes are patchouli and geranium, which explains why this perfume was a stand out for me as I love patchouli, although at first I couldn't detect this until the dry down. It's unique and I like perfumes which carry an individual note, delicate without being overpowered by flowers. I find myself sniffing my wrist all day long when I'm wearing it.
You won't smell heavy hippy patchouli, this is soft and elegant with a light earthiness.
It falls in the oriental/chypre category and contains spices which bring out sensuality and confidence.
One of the major factors people worry about with organic perfumes is staying power, as natural perfumes don't contain chemical fixatives, they don't usually last as long on your skin. I found that I only needed one extra spritz of perfume half way through the day, this will vary depending on your type of skin.
Another great thing about this is the price,$59.90 for a 50ml bottle! That is amazing value for a French organic perfume.
