7 Best Essential Oils for Health

For hundreds of years, essential oils have been used as natural medicine for many ailments. They have now been scientifically proven to have a large number of benefits and are still being used widely as medicine, for a skincare routine, and for healing purposes. If you want to try natural cures for your ailments as well, here are some of the best essential oils you should always keep in your cupboard:
Picture
Ginger Oil

Ginger oil is revered for its anti-inflammatory properties above all. It is widely used to cure a sore throat. Using it on the skin also helps in reducing acne and redness on the skin. Ginger oil can also be used on wounds to prevent inflammation.
Frankincense Oil

Frankincense oil is another anti-inflammatory agent that can help in reducing inflammation all over the body. This includes acne, a sore throat or even fever. Frankincense oil is also used to boost your immunity and help you fight a number of diseases. Some studies have even linked the use of frankincense oil with the prevention of cancer and destruction of cancer cells.

Tea Tree Oil

You have probably heard of this ‘miracle’ oil at some point in your life. Mostly used for skincare, tea tree oil has astringent, mattifying and anti-inflammatory properties. You can add it to a soothing mask for oily skin and use it to treat acne. It is also used to ward off unpleasant odors and has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties as well. These help in keeping wounds uninfected and in treating many skin diseases.
Lavender Oil

Lavender oil is widely used for aromatherapy. It’s extremely pleasant and soothing smell helps relax the mind and body and relieve stress. Lavender oil is also a widely known antiseptic and is known for its healing properties when used on cuts, bruises, and scars.
Chamomile Oil

Chamomile oil is a very potent natural cure for stress and insomnia. Many types of research have linked chamomile oil to stress relief and many herbalists recommend this oil for insomniacs. It is also very good for the skin and removes acne, acne scars, blemishes and uneven discoloration. Chamomile oil is rapidly gaining popularity as a natural remedy for many ailments.

Eucalyptus Oil

You must have heard of eucalyptus oil in many different healing products. It is an effective remedy for sinusitis, chest congestion, and other respiratory problems. It also has anti-bacterial properties that prevent chest and wound infections.
Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is widely used for refreshing yourself and staying more alert. If you ever feel perpetually exhausted and sleepy, a few drops of this oil will wake you right up. It is also widely known for its digestive properties.

Tinnitus relief using essential oils and visualisation

Disclaimer: This is my personal experience and not professional medical advice. Essential oils are powerful and you may experience some mild discomfort as you start applying them for Tinnitus. As an example, when I started this protocol for a client, she experienced dizziness and a feeling of being light headed. That happened following the first few applications and did not last for too long but it was noticeable enough that she would refrain from driving for a few hours. This disappeared after a few days.

Oils I recommend: Helichrysum, Basil, Geranium and True Lavender.

Blending ratio: 1-1-1-1

Protocol: Mix 1 drop of each and apply on temples (avoid the eye area), upper part of the forehead, back of neck, behind and around the ears and on the ear lobes. Wiggle the ear lobes about a dozen times.

Massage/visualisation

The visualisation works along the essential nature of the oil (quantum aspect of modern aromatherapy).

Take a deep breath and bring your attention in the area of your heart; ask your heart's intelligence to work with the energy/frequency/intelligence/consciousness of the oils. Place one hand on each side of your head and imagine a thread of light beaming out of each palm. Cup both hands with some pressure then release the pressure (I hope that makes sense, otherwise I'll do a video to demonstrate). Imagine you are moving energy back and forth through your head, from one ear to the other. Imagine the light from the right hand bouncing off the left hand and vice versa. Finish by leaving both hands cupped over your ears and take 3 deep breathes.

Repeat 3 times per day, each day

Oil quality (super important): For Tinnitus and every condition that compromise quality of life, I have chosen to work with Ameo essential oils; why these oils particularly? Because I appreciate the fact that I can go on line at any time and check the quality control tests done on the very batch I am holding in my hand. Not only the purity tests (whether the oil is certified organic or not) but also and foremost, cell permeability.

If you want to see what I mean, watch here how True Lavender works. http://www.ameodifference.com/ameo-difference/18592  - This is the actual batch number on the label of the bottle I am currently using. I find this fascinating.

That is the oil I chose but it does not mean you cannot use other oils; with regards to cell permeability, I am quite confident that it is a function of most oils sold under a therapeutic grade label. Ameo seems to be the only brand able to substantiate their claims in such an accessible way, but that does not mean other oils do not work in the same way. For oils that are blended based on DNA matching between the oil genome and the human genome, this would be different though. My other favourites are Pranarom and Osmebiose (French Laboratories) scientific aromatherapy.

If you suffer from Tinnitus to the point it is getting in the way of you enjoying life more fully, I can only suggest you to try this strategy for yourself. Trust your intuition and let it be your guide as you imagine healing light carrying the quantum messengers that are the volatile aspects of the oils.
Lastly, be patient.

Initial improvement came after a couple of weeks of daily discipline with application. Three months down the road however, my client's whistling has faded to the point where it is very bearable particularly during the day. At night she still notices it but it no longer keeps her awake.

Heartfelt wishes,

Ingrid

The following is one in a series of practical Améo Essential Oil uses from healthy lifestyle expert Karen A. Jensen

1 tsp. 100% alcohol such as vodka
¼ tsp. pure liquid Castile soap
5 drops each: Lemongrass and Spruce
Enough water to fill bottle
(More suggestions: Peppermint/Tangerine, Eucalyptus Globulus, ProShield, and even Gentle Repose)

Spray into bowl prior to use, after flushing or just to freshen the room. In a busy home, when children are around, the use of this in a room constitutes a rare moment of calm. For this reason the use of oils like Pure Tranquility and Calming Breeze may also apply.

Safety Guidelines

Essential oils are very highly concentrated and potent and it is important to always check the specific safety data provided. Keep out of reach of children, the elderly, and pets.

Some oils may cause skin irritation in people with sensitive skin. It is recommended to perform a patch test before use. To patch test, place one drop on the back of your wrist and leave for an hour or more. If irritation or redness occurs wash the area with olive oil then cold water and do not use the oil.
