We all want to look our best at all times. We might not have paparazzi catching our every move as we head to the shops, walk our pets or make our way to an appointment like the stars do. But still. You never know who you might bump into when you leave the front door. But not all of us woke up like Beyonce. So how do you look flawless 24/7? Well, it’s all to do with preparation. Here’s how you can turn up like a princess and make it look natural and easy. Diet A huge part of hitting societal standards of beauty is having clear skin. But how do you get clear skin? Well, it’s partially down to genes and hormones, but your skin is also greatly affected by your diet. Just remember to always drink eight glasses of water a day. This will keep you hydrated and your skin is glowing. Dark chocolate, yoghurt, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, peppers sunflower seeds and kidney beans are all great for your skin. Make sure you eat at least a little of some of these foods every week. Exercise This will give you a healthy glow. You sweat out toxins and your general health will improve. This will show in how you look. Sleep Not many people would describe dark circles as a thing to aim for. Make sure you get your eight hours of beauty sleep every night. Get yourself into a good sleep-wake routine and your bags will lighten and grow less noticeable in no time. Skin Routine
Have a good routine when it comes to cleansing your skin. Exfoliate once a week at least with an exfoliator especially formulated for your face - you don’t want to be too rough with it. This will remove dead and flakey skin and keep your complexion glowing. Wash well with a soap or face wash that suits you. Organic and natural formulas are best. Use your hands or a damp muslin cloth. Pat dry with a towel and moisturise. Do this when you wake in the morning and before you sleep at night. Makeup Makeup isn’t necessary. If you feel happy and confident without it, then don’t feel like you have to make yourself up before you go out. But equally, if you enjoy using makeup and like the way that it makes you look then load it up. Never let anyone tell you what you should and shouldn’t do when it comes to makeup application. Just remember to always wash it off before you go to sleep. Use cruelty-free brands, and when it comes to foundation, it’s better to invest in a brand that will allow your skin to breath and apply smoothly than a cheaper brand. If a special occasion is coming up, why not treat yourself and hire a mobile makeup artist. These professionals will come to you and get your makeup on point in your home. What’s not to love? During the summer, we are less likely to apply a face full of makeup and more inclined to stick with our natural look. It can get too hot and sweaty to think about anything else. But being an image conscious society, we can still take actions to make sure our natural appearance looks its best. So I thought I would share with you five ways you can improve the way you look just in time for summer. Think about your skin Your skin throughout all of the winter will have been open to the elements. So now is the time to rejuvenate it and show it some love. You can do this by taking care of your skincare routine and perhaps making a few changes. Your skin, not just on your face, will be more on show during the summer. So it’s essential to take care of it and keep it looking it’s best. This means keeping yourself hydrated with plenty of water. After all it is nature's detox. You can also consider a different facial cleanser or a new moisturizer. You would be best to head down to your local natural beauty department and ask for a few samples and see what works best with your skin. Eat well What we put into our bodies can be a reflection of what comes out. So if we want our skin to look good and for our appearance to be healthy and glowing, then make sure you eat a healthy diet. This doesn’t mean heading on to some extreme diet where you lose weight quickly. This is more about eating the right things and consuming more healthier food. As long as you get your five a day of fruit and vegetables, then you are on the right track. Just keep the treats to a minimum. They are the things that can cause spots on our skin. Exercise more Taking more exercise and being more active can help us to achieve a more toned looking body. If you are struggling with losing a little weight, then a good exercise regime can help you lose a few pounds as well. Exercising, be it as simple as walking, or something more extreme can keep your body looking trim and athletic. Which in the summer can be a real confidence booster. Work on that smile
Smiling is the one thing that can express your personality instantly. You can tell a lot by someone's smile. So if you don’t feel confident in yours then do something about it. It’s the natural beauty that can be expressed within you. This might mean visiting your dentist and discussing problem areas. It might mean considering teeth whitening services. Even if you just up your brushing game. Get the confidence in your smile and work it. Get more sleep Finally, getting more sleep can work wonders for how you look. It can erase any black marks under your eyes or bags that may appear. It can make you feel better and more confident because you are rested. If you struggle with sleep, then consider your routine before you head to bed. It might mean making some small changes like not using your phone before sleep. Or drinking a relaxing chamomile tea instead of something caffeine based or alcoholic. I hope these tips help you to improve your natural beauty this summer. However, you can help your skin in several of ways by using white wine facials. Whether you enjoy a nice long vinotherapy session at home or go seek a professional, your skin will be thankful. Red Wine vs White Wine In essence you can use either variation as a cleanser and toner, and you can even have a glass of wine to go with the process. Wine, in general, contains many antioxidants which will help repair and prevent your cells from being damaged further. Moreover, some of the ingredients, present in both wine types, can help iron out wrinkles and make your face seem younger. Furthermore, wine is known to have anti-aging characteristics as well, meaning that it will be a great asset in making sure you look younger once more. Create a Spa Day for Yourself The good thing about white wine facials is that you can easily make them at home, meaning that you can pamper yourself and create a fantastic evening of enjoyment and relaxation. Finding a good recipe will be crucial though, which is why you should look into how you can make a wrinkle and anti-aging facial mask to help you out. On the other hand, do not just blindly mix together ingredients, as you will have to make sure you understand your skin’s complexion and what some of the elements can do to it. Make sure to take your time to be able to thoroughly enjoy yourself, and to finally relax. Long Term Effects Unfortunately, in the short term, you will not notice a lot of things changing, which is why you need to be patient and keep applying the facial mask whenever possible. Think about the near future, and how it can help smooth out your skin, and give you a lasting glow that can make others feel jealous. Then again, be mindful how many times you apply a facial mask, as it could damage your skin if you are not careful enough. After all, you are playing with potent ingredients which if mixed right could do wonders, but, on the other hand, they could be dangerous. Mind Your Wine Selection You should be picky with your wine, and try to get the best of the best, if you do not want to have poor quality results in the end. Moreover, try to find a good store which will be able to supply you with high-quality wines, but at a reasonable price. Moreover, try to surprise yourself and opt for exotic wines which could be even better for your skin. The bottle shops in Melbourne offer a great selection of local, national, international wine, at affordable prices. You will be able to experiment and create the perfect home-made white wine facial to help you skin look smooth and young. The popularity of white wine facials is gaining wind, and its many features are being used in therapies all over the world. Though, if you feel like treatments are expensive, you can always make your own home-made variant, which could end up being even more fun to do. Though, remember to first practice home, and to find the right ingredients, to make something that will definitely help out your skin in the long run. Bear in mind to try and find a good year and a bottle of wine which will be good to drink, and for your facial mask. This post has been contributed by Laura. Summer might seem like a long way away, but it always seems to creep up on us when we least expect it. The days are already getting lighter. There’s no better time to start getting your summer body than now! No need for fad diets or ridiculous amounts of exercise. If you start now, you can coast into summer and feel confident in your bikini. Here’s what to do! Change Your Diet Take a look at your diet and see if there is any way you can change it for the better. You should be filling your diet full of natural, whole foods to get the best summer body. Eating 200 calories of vegetables is so much better than eating 200 calories of chocolate, and you’ll feel fuller for longer. Learn how to use nutritional labels and opt for fresh food over prepackaged. Instead of drinking calorific drinks, opt for water and green tea too. Find Ways to Get Active Getting active is important if you want a summer body too. Even if it’s something like taking the stairs rather than the lift, it’ll all add up. Getting in some regular exercise about 3-4 times a week is a good idea. You could play a sport with a friend, swim, or lift weights. Whatever you do, make sure you enjoy it. Your exercise routine should be vary to make the most difference to your body. Make sure you’re not putting too much emphasis on cardio either. It might help you to lose weight, but it won’t shape your body the way you want it. Start Taking the Right Supplements Taking supplements is the third step you can take when going after that summer body. Providing you’ve got your diet right and you’re getting plenty of exercise, you can incorporate supplements to help you achieve your goals. Just don’t expect supplements to do all of the work for you. They’ll enhance your results, but they won’t be solely responsible for them. You can even look into nutritional cleansing with certain supplements to help aid your fat loss. Allow Treats in Moderation Now, cutting out treats completely would probably lead to bingeing. So you definitely shouldn’t do that. You should allow yourself one or two small cheat meals per week - emphasis on small! Don’t go OTT or eat until you feel so stuffed that you have to undo your jeans. Simply look forward to this meal at the end of a week when you’ve worked hard. It’ll keep you going and it’ll also give your metabolism a little kick too. Monitor Your Progress Properly To get an accurate idea of how you’re doing, you need to monitor your progress properly. You don’t want to just weigh yourself, as that’s inaccurate. Instead, measure yourself and take pictures too. This will keep you going when you think you aren’t making progress! Rome wasn’t built in a day, so the key is to avoid rushing this process. The longer you give yourself, the less pressure you’ll feel. Then it’s a case of maintaining your results. You can’t just go back to how you were before! This post has been contributed by Diana Smith Before you know it, the colder seasons are going to be long forgotten and your cracked and weary skin will be in urgent need of some recovery. When spring finally arrives and shines upon us with its warm sun rays and the soft wind fondles our skin, it will be time to step up the game and take some appropriate measures. So until we welcome spring once again, it is best to learn how to properly nourish our skin so it would be glowing by the time you can say regular skin care! And here is how to do that: Protect and Serve We all know that prevention is the best medicine. Keeping this in mind, make sure to remember to protect your skin from those harmful UV rays. Do not be fooled by the overcast weather, because these rays can affect your skin either way. So always remember to apply a natural sunscreen whenever you are going out so you would be sure that you are keeping your skin safe. Strong sun can cause brown spots, deep lines, wrinkles, but also skin cancer. It is better to be safe than sorry. Exfoliation Is the Key You never know how much dirt and dead cells can pile up on your skin during these long and weary seasons. Because of this, you should know that exfoliation is the key to every regular skin routine. This means that you should exfoliate at least once a week, in order to bring your skin back to life. Of course, exfoliating applies to the whole body, not just your face. Be sure to use a quality exfoliating scrub or a loofah, as some less quality ones could cause irritations to severely sensitive skin. Rehydrate For Recovery One of the most important aspects of every skin care routine is remembering to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated. You might have noticed that during these few colder months your skin has become dry and cracked at certain places. This is mostly because the cold weather dries out the skin and it is not getting sufficient amounts of water. Because of this, it is important to drink lots of water in these transition months and to remember to use products that additionally moisturize the skin. Eat Healthy and Plenty Another thing that is mostly neglected by people is to make certain changes in the diet plan. Most of us are used to eating heavy and fat foods during autumn and winter. But in order to prep your skin for spring it is important to make some alterations in your nutrition. Make sure to implement some vitamin rich foods that will boost your immune system and nourish your skin. Also, eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables that are rich in water so you would additionally hydrate your body. Antioxidant rich foods will also help you detox your body and rid it from all the piled up toxins. Choose Your Products Wisely When it comes to the products you use on daily basis, what is crucial is to rely on natural-based products that nurture your skin and help it recover in the best possible way. Try to stay away from products that contain alcohol or other chemicals that might dry out your skin even more or cause other skin conditions. Make sure to choose something suitable for your skin type like asap skin products that are designed to revitalise your skin and give it proper care. When spring finally arrives, make sure to welcome it with arms wide open and skin shining brightly. Keep in mind that every skin type is different and that you should nourish your skin accordingly. Do not hesitate to consult with a dermatologist so you would get all the needed information about proper care for your skin. This post has been contributed by Emma Lawson Skin changes as we grow older and it is a natural process of course, but most of what we consider natural aging is due to numerous other factors. Premature signs of aging can be avoided if we know what causes them and limit the exposure to these unfavourable factors. We cannot go back in time, but we can immediately slow down the process if we start taking better care of our skin. Here is what you should do. 1.Stop sunbathing As much as 80% of skin aging is due to the so called photo aging, that is to say, due to excessive and chronic exposure to UV radiation. Any intentional sunbathing means more wrinkles and brown spots. With the sunbathing season at its peak, you should learn how to protect your skin from the damaging sun rays. Wear a hat with a wide brim to protect the delicate skin on your face and cover up the rest of your body with clothes. If you are heading for the beach, apply a broad-spectrum SPF moisturizer with a protection of at least 30. Seek shade and avoid the sun between 11am and 3pm. 2. Stop smoking Have you heard of the expression ‘smoker’s face’? This refers to distinctive facial characteristics of people who smoke. Toxic chemicals in cigarettes cause the wrinkles to occur sooner and they are deeper than with non-smokers. Smokers tend to have crow’s feet and droopy skin around the eyes, and sallow complexion. The only solution to this problem is to stop smoking immediately. 3. Stop heavy drinking Excessive alcohol is bad for your health in general, but it first shows on your skin. In addition to the short-term redness, bloating and dark circles under the eyes, alcohol undoubtedly has long-term effects on our appearance. Alcohol dehydrates our skin and causes the wrinkles and other signs of ageing to appear prematurely. Although, red wine has powerful anti-aging properties as long as you drink in moderation. One glass of wine a day is a recommended dosage for women. Anything above that would be more damaging than beneficial. 4. Stop eating junk food In order to stay young, your skin needs proper nutrients, just like your entire body does. Try to eat plenty of foods that contain antioxidants, like vitamin C, E, A and B, which are particularly important for skin nutrition. Fruits and vegetables are rich sources of these vitamins. Start with tomatoes, citrus, green leafy vegetables, and carrots. Lentils are also abundant in minerals that will preserve your youthful look. Make sure the food you eat is healthy and organically grown, as organic food does not contain harmful chemicals that damage the skin. Some studies also suggest that food that contains a lot of sugar can accelerate the aging process. Better find alternatives to sweets and chocolates. 5. Do not skip sleep Beauty sleep is not just a figure of speech. You have probably noticed yourself that how you look on a certain day largely depends on how much sleep you had the night before. This is because skin repairs itself during night. You should never skip your eight hours of night sleep. Are you wearing sunscreen every day? How else do you protect your skin and your youthful appearance?

Rosacea is a skin condition that can be embarrassing at times. It involves reddening of the skin around the face. This can be aggravated by extreme temperatures, spicy foods and sunbathing. These things are only believed to make the condition worse. The actual cause of the problem however, is not known and it is believed to be hereditary. However, it is possible to treat the rosacea condition in a number of ways. It is important that when you think you have the rosacea condition, you visit your doctor early so that you can discuss on a plan to control the condition. Do not wait until when your skin turns red and your confidence is affected by the condition. Here are some ways that can help you deal with the problem. Other major causes of rosacea are use of skin brighteners that have chemical that react with the skin.
Mild Rosacea This is a subtype of rosacea that is characterized by visible blood vessels, flushes and facial redness. This is a very advanced stage of rosacea and is difficult to treat. At this stage, one is advised to keep off foods and other factors that aggravate the condition. Such factors include spices and temperature changes. Apart from avoiding these factors, there are other ways that can be used to contain the condition. A personal doctor who understands your health issues is the right person to discuss with on a possible plan to treat mild rosacea. One way through which the condition can be controlled is by the use of the estrogen hormone to treat hot flashes. Patients with the condition can be given the hormone to counter the hot flashes caused by rosacea. This is a very delicate procedure and major decisions have to be made depending on the patientās health history. Another issue of concern is that the hormone is used to treat hot flashes that mainly occur during menopause and not rosacea flashes. It is therefore just used as a remedy because of the nature of likeness between the two flashes. The major concern about using the estrogen hormone is that the therapy poses great threats of heart diseases, stroke and breast cancer. Apart from the use of hormone estrogen, beta blockers have been recommended for treating rosacea flushes and visibility of blood vessels. The use of these blocks to treat rosacea has not been tested and approved by the relevant bodies in America. Beta blockers have been used in the past as treatment for menopausal flashes, heart diseases and high blood pressure. Moderate Rosacea This subtype of rosacea is characterized by facial redness and pimples on the face. There are oral medications and tropical treatments that can be used to reduce inflammation and break outs. Most of the medication used to treat rosacea can be used to fight inflammation and prevent redness of the face but cannot be used to kill bacteria. Severe Rosacea This is the serious type of rosacea. The main symptoms include skin thickening and enlargement mostly affecting the areas around the nose. This type requires special care. Its treatment includes the use of oral and tropical medications combined with laser therapy. However, laser therapy is referred to as the best remedy for this type of rosacea. YAG and carbon dioxide lasers are the common types of lasers used for the treatment of severe rosacea. In some cases where laser therapy does not help much, the patient may have to go through surgery to remove the extra tissue. This case is worse and requires attention at early stages because the overgrowth of tissue around the nose may cause other life threatening complications like difficulty in breathing or collapsing of the nostrils. Most of the severe cases of rosacea may lead to lose in self-esteem which is a very serious issue. Patients are therefore advised to seek professional help in such cases. Conclusion
Most of the treatment for rosacea are just remedy to help the patient deal with the condition. In fact most of them are treatments used for other conditions that have similar traits as rosacea. Some of them have not been tested and allowed for use in treatment of rosacea by the relevant food and drugs regulatory bodies. However, the time taken to treat rosacea will depend on individuals and the type of condition. āAuthor Bio: Ella James is an aspiring author who is pursuing Health Services Administration degree from St. Petersburg College. You may be wondering why your skin is no longer as lustrous? The answer is simple: you are aging. When it comes to aging, you have to admit that the most inevitable and unavoidable part of this natural process is wrinkled. It does not matter, how gracefully you age; no one wants those fine lines on their faces. Sadly, wrinkles affect more than just the face; they can affect different parts of the body. The parts most commonly affected by wrinkles are: • Neck • Backs of hands • Tops of forearms Though different parts of the body are affected, facial wrinkles are the major complaint about most patients, as they are more visible. What exactly are facial wrinkles? Have you noticed those folds, creases or fine lines on your forehead and around the eyes, or the chin? Those lines may not be clearly visible right now, but with time, they become deeper and more prominent. So, if you are noticing them right now, take steps to keep them away from being noticed by others. Wrinkles cannot be kept at bay forever, but you can prolong the period during which your face is youthful and with the top 10 wrinkle creams for your wrinkle free skin. Different factors causing wrinkles Age is not the only culprit behind every line on your face; there are several other factors that are equally responsible for the appearance of wrinkles. Some of these elements contribute to the development of wrinkles to a degree that is equal to the effects of age. These factors are: • Smoking • Excessive exposure to the sun • Harsh chemicals • Facial expressions • Genetics Five ways to prevent facial wrinkles A wrinkle-free, beautiful glowing skin is desired, but not achieved by all. Like anything else, our skin also demands care and attention. Though the conserving time for taking proper care of the skin is difficult in today’s busy schedule, it is not impossible. You only need to dedicate the little time to keeping your skin wrinkle free and beautiful for the longer period. Let's have a look at ways in which you can protect your skin: 1. Minimize the skin exposure to the sun: Though sunlight is a major source of vitamin D, overexposure to the sun accelerates the skin aging process. To avoid this, wear a hat, sunglasses, scarves, etc. to keep your skin protected from sunlight. Don't forget to apply sunscreen lotion before leaving the house to protect the areas of your skin that get exposed to the sun. 2. Say goodbye to smoking- Research has shown people with smoking habits tend to develop more wrinkles than those who don’t smoke. Results of Twin research unit at St. Thomas Hospital in London have shown that people with smoking habits have a 40% greater chances of developing wrinkles and having thinner than the other group of nonsmokers. 3. Lie on your back- Develop a habit of lying on your back when you sleep, and not on your sites as this restricts the chances of skin damage. 4. Follow a proper diet: There is no alternative to developing good eating habits when it comes to health, beauty and wellbeing. Your daily food chart should be rich in fruits and vegetables. Fish are also great for the skin, especially oily fish like Salmon. Adopt a healthy and balanced diet as your everyday routine, and your skin will thank you. 5. Get enough sleep: If you want a beautiful glowing skin, you should get adequate sleep. That is 7-8 hours of shut-eye every night. Inadequate sleep increases the secretion of the hormone cortisol, which negatively impacts the skin. 6. Use anti-aging products: Not all anti-aging products are effective, but if you use the right products, they can help you keep your skin hydrated, fresh and youthful. How to conceal already existing wrinkles Though Prevention is always a better idea than cure, sometimes you need a quick fix for a problem that has already occurred. If the ship has already sailed, the previous steps may be sufficient to prevent further damages, but not to give you the appearance you want. In that case, you will need to take extra care of your skin. • Hydrate your skin: As you get older, your skin becomes a bit dry. When the skin gets dry, wrinkles and fine lines get easy access, and the only solution is to moisturize the skin. Moisturizers help to lock the moisture and keep the skin hydrated for longer periods of time. Eventually, they help conceal your wrinkles, so they aren’t visible. • Make-up: This method is the easiest way to hide your fine lines and wrinkles. This quick and easy fix is only temporary, however, and it should be used in conjunction with the other sites that help solve the problem rather than conceal it. • Avoid excessive washing: Dermatologist believes that excessive washing can make your skin dry. When cleaned, the skin loses its natural oil and moisture that prevent wrinkles. To avoid this try washing your face only twice a day, and do so gently. Use a soft towel and gently pat your face dry. • Medical treatment: There are several medications and techniques that can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and make those fine lines less visible. Contact a dermatologist if you feel that your skin needs professional care. He or she will help you choose the best products and procedures to get the best results. • Anti-aging products – there are a lot of products today that minimize existing wrinkles and slow down an appearance of new ones. For example, Solvaderm’s Stemuderm is one of the best and most effective products of this type. This anti-aging solution addresses all problems of skin aging and minimizes wrinkles to restore youthful skin appearance. It is made of natural ingredients that make your skin smooth, firm, and hydrated. Moreover, this treatment improves collagen production and restores elasticity of your skin. The product should be applied to clean face, neck and cleavage. Apply it with your fingertips in circular motions twice a day (morning and night) as part of your daily skin care routine. Conclusion Stopping time at its tracks and keeping a youthful wrinkle free complexion is something almost everybody aspires for. To accomplish this, you must take proper care of your skin. We may not be able to stop time, but we can restrain the other factors that play a major role in skin aging. Most importantly, you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle to avoid premature skin aging and age gracefully.
