Chateau Ambiance, an Australian made luxury spa brand, have a created a deliciously scented raw sugar body scrub. Channeling the luxurious nature of France’s best chateaus and spas, I love anything French, so if a product can make me feel as though I'm in a luxurious French spa, this is for me!
The scent used in this scrub is Tahitian Vanilla, an exotic scented vanilla which smells so beautiful. This is an incredible aroma, I keep it in my shower and after I use it the scent just fills up my bathroom making it smell so nice and comforting, the aroma is a creamy vanilla with a touch of coconut. So warm and tropical.
Using the scrub feels quite invigorating and it feels great for my skin circulation. The raw sugar scrub is very effective in removing dry skin, but at the same time it's very gentle, as the oil combination of organic coconut oil and rice bran oil actually moisturises my skin and leaves it feeling really soft. I like how it removes flaky skin, but at the same time keeps it feeling supple.
Rice bran oil has deep moisturizing abilities, due to it’s Vitamin E content and fatty acids. Combined with the skin benefits of coconut oil, which works as a deep cleanser, removing toxins and is also a deep moisturiser, helping to heal irritated skin.
The fine texture of the organic raw sugar exfoliates skin gently without leaving harmful residue. The natural glycolic acid in sugar actually helps to regenerate skin and moisturize skin, so yes, sometimes sugar can be our friend!
I've been using this scrub every day, sometimes twice a day and find it to be very luxurious and great for sensitive skin. I can see this scrub being used in chic organic beauty salons, it gives me a very pampered feeling, but is a lot more affordable!
