Product Review: Laviol Organic

Organic Shea Butter Cleanser, Organic Bearberry Brightening Moisturiser, Organic Papaya Exfoliating Lotion, Seaweed Eye Cream.

Today I am going to review some products I have been fortunate enough to try from Laviol Organic.
Laviol Organic offer some of the most pure organic products on the market today and best of all, they are 100 percent Australian made, certified organic and cruelty free.  They have managed to combine green and luxury to make some of the most deluxe organics I've tried.  They are also very affordable.  The Laviol range come in attractive eco friendly packaging and I love the look and design of the dark amber bottles.

Organic Shea Butter Cleanser
I have problem skin and this product is perfect for me, it's very gentle and effective, lifts away dirt and impurities and left my skin feeling very soft and clean. It has a wonderful uplifting orange and lavender scent, great for early morning showers and relaxing at night time.  Shea butter is known for it's moisturising properties, restoring skin elasticity and doesn't clog pores. This cleanser easily rinses off with no oily residue.  It helps to maintain a healthy skin PH balance.    I felt like this didn't strip my skin of natural oils, so I didn't get that unfcomfortable tight feeling as I have with some harsher cleansers.

Organic Papaya Exfoliating Lotion
The Organic Papaya Exfoliating Lotion contains a natural bamboo exfoliant to gently and effectively loosen dead skin and remove impurities.  The bamboo powder is very fine, not big and harsh like some exfoliators, so this won't hurt or pull on irritated skin or acne.   The papaya exfoliated my skin in a very gentle and natural way, excellent for sensitive skin.  Papaya contains an abundance of antioxidants which reduces inflammation and makes skin more radiant.   It also contains the healing properties of Aloe Vera, Green Tea and Shea Butter.   I love the organic lemon myrtle scent.  I really look forward to using this every day, it feels like I'm getting a free aromatherapy session on top of being exfoliated!

Organic Bearberry Brightening Moisturiser
This is a lovely, light moisturiser containing bearberry and mulberry.   Bearberry is a mild botanical skin lightener, which is great for my skin, as I have a few stubborn red acne scars which were not going away.   This would also be good for age spots and reversing sun damage.  It increases skin cell turn over, which helps to achieve younger looking skin. It's probably too early to tell yet, but my skin does look like it's been smoothed out and become more even toned.  Bearberry is actually an amazing ingredient and I think it's going to become a huge thing in organic skincare.  Laviol are very innovative and really have researched their ingredients to give you what is best for your skin type.  This moisturiser leaves my skin feeling hydrated and not oily and heavy. Good for acne prone skin, as bearberry reduces sebum.   The scent is very soft.

Seaweed eye cream
This eye cream goes a long way!  In fact, all of these products do, you only need a tiny bit, so this eye cream will last you for quite a while.
It's a beautiful, light eye cream, scented with organic ylang ylang essential oil, the scent is divine.   The way a product smells is really important to me and
this smells so nice, I look forward to using it just for the smell, it's very calming.   With the healing properties of seaweed, which increases blood circulation, olive leaf and seabucktorn berry oil, my eyes felt less puffy and very nourished.  Research has shown that nutrients from seaweed can penetrate more deeply into the skin compared to other skin care ingredients, this helps your skin maintain its firmness and hydration. I really felt that this cream deeply moisturised my skin.  My sister and mother also used this eye cream, they both have extremely sensitive skin and they didn't experience any problems at all.    Also contains calming chamomile and rosehip oil (good for wrinkles).    If I had to choose, this seaweed eye cream is probably my favourite.

So to wrap things up, I would recommend these products to anyone wanting a change for the better to their skin care, especially for those with sensitive skin.   It's hard to find organic, luxury and affordable all in one and I think these products do it very well.
