Hair loss is a condition that is most commonly associated with males; however, it is seen that older females will also suffer from this problem. In previous years, the most common cause of hair loss was age and the influence of genetics but in modern society there seem to be far more contributors to alopecia (the technical term for hair loss). Due to the contemporary individual's poor diet, lack of exercise, and many styling treatments; the increase in risk of hair loss at a younger age is higher than ever before. Of course, there are pharmaceutical treatments that can assist in reducing or preventing this problem but they can result in additional side effects. This article will discuss the natural method to avoid this condition and looks at the top herbs to promote hair growth. 1. Ginkgo Biloba
One of the most beneficial herbs currently available for various ailments, ginkgo biloba is highly advantageous as a natural hair growth agent. Due to the herb's ability to increase blood flow to the brain, it is able to stimulate the growth of hair follicles and repair any damage that may have been experienced. Many people in the global population utilize ginkgo biloba as a memory enhancement supplement; however, it is also possible for these natural herbal supplements to stimulate hair growth when taken on a daily basis. 2. Ginseng A well-known Chinese herb, ginseng is another stimulating resource that influences the activity in the brain and central nervous system. As with ginkgo biloba, ginseng is able to stimulate areas within the brain and repair any damages to the hair follicles; thus promoting hair growth for the individual. It is possible to locate ginseng in the form of herbal supplements but this herb is most commonly found as an ingredient in organic shampoo. 3. Rosemary Rosemary is arguably the most well-known natural agent used as a hair loss treatment. This herb has been used by individuals of different cultures for hundreds of years and is most effective during the initial stages of hair loss. While it is possible to apply the crushed rosemary directly and see positive results, it is recommended that the rosemary is combined with olive oil as this will stimulate hair growth and nourish the hair follicles. Yet, it should be noted that rosemary does present several side effects for people with neurological conditions such as epilepsy; therefore, it should be used carefully. 4. Horsetail One unique herb that is not very well known among the general population is that of horsetail. This oddly named herb is commonly used as a strengthening agent for bones and nails; however, it is also beneficial as a means of reducing hair loss. The ability of the herb to strengthen body parts includes the human hair and, as such, improves the quality of the hair follicles. Horsetail can be found in many natural conditioners and should be used regularly to act as one of the many herbs to promote hair growth. I Iam just loving these natural paste deodorants! If you haven’t tried one before, now is the time to think about changing. What I love about No Pong is that it’s so economical, all I need is a tiny dot sized amount and it literally lasts all day long. It contains beeswax and coconut oil to help it stay put and the cornstarch absorbs moisture. Baking soda adjusts PH levels, so that bacteria can't survive. Added to this are a beautiful blend of certified organic essential oils of Sweet Orange, Vanilla, Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Bergamot, Lime, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang and Geranium.
A stand out for me with this deodorant is that it is water resistant for up to 12 hours!, so I can go to the beach, go swimming, go for long walks and still feel nice and fresh. It also contains frankincense! one of my all time favourite essential oil scents, it has a very calming effect on my mind. The overall scent of No Pong is light and anyone can wear it, male or female. I would describe it as light and refreshing, slightly woodsy and citrusy and this scent lasts through the day without a hint of any type of smelly armpits. I’ve been using it for a few a weeks now, one of which I was away on holiday being active outdoors, walking around alot, going out to dinner and this was a very hot week, we had a heat wave. I also wore it out to a food and wine festival, an all day experience in the hot and humid weather and No Pong stayed working the entire day. The next week I wore No Pong when I went back to work, this is the big test for me because when being under stress, I naturally sweat and when I'm at work I want to smell nice at all times! If you're heading for an extra charged up gym workout at the end of the day you could probably re-apply beforehand, but for my day to day racing around and for yoga class I didn't need to. No Pong is a safe, effective natural deodorant. It does not contain parabens, aluminium or any nasties at all. We all know what aluminium and parabens do right? Studies have shown a connection between these chemicals and cancer and dementia. There is absolutely no need to use products which contain damaging chemicals when you can use a fantastic natural product such as No Pong. Here is a complete list of ingredients - Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Corn Starch, Beeswax, and a proprietary blend of 100% pure, certified organic essential oils consisting of Orange Sweet, Vanilla, Lemongrass, Cedarwood Atlas, Bergamot, Lime, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, and Geranium. No Pong is Australian made, very affordable (only $5.95!) with cheap shipping ($3.00). I love how they have kept the price so low, it's something I really appreciate in a natural company. I also like the trendy little tin it comes in. No Pong can be purchased online.
An old remedy, but a good one! It's amazing that such an affordable little remedy such as castor oil can have such amazing effects on skin and hair.
Woohoo! is a 100 percent natural deodorant paste and the first thing I want to say is this really works, it works all day long! All you do is apply a tiny little pea sized shape of paste to your underarm and gently rub it in, it absorbs within a few seconds. You really do only need a tiny bit, so this jar is going to last me for ages. It’s hard to believe, but this tiny amount of deodorant protects me for the entire day, from 7.00 in the morning until I arrive home in the evening. It actually eliminates odour without blocking your pores. It does not contain aluminium, which is highly toxic and stops you from sweating. Woohoo keeps you dry by absorbing moisture. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and I love it. I like the cute pink colour jar it comes in and it smells really nice, it’s a light natural scent, one of my favourite scents so far in the natural deodorants I've experienced. It contains the gentle scents of cedar, orange peel oil, lavender and vanilla, which can be worn by men and women. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all, which is really important after shaving! , so it is perfectly safe to use for anyone with sensitive skin. The paste is clear when applied and it doesn't leave any marks or stains!, which is great as I've had a bad experience with another natural deodorant before and it ruined my top! It’s ingredients are all natural and soothing and good for your skin, no dangerous parabens (which studies have shown to be found in breast cancer cells) and aluminium (which has been linked to alzheimers). Here is the full list of ingredients - - Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Manihot Esculenta (Tapioca) Root Starch, Sodium Bicarbonate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Kaolin Clay, Isoamyl Laurate, Euphorbia Cerifera Cera (Candelilla) Wax, Triethyl Citrate, Zinc Oxide, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Wood (Cedarwood Atlas) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa) Oil, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Oil and Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla) Extract All natural, organic, vegan and Australian made. Free from aluminium salts, phthalates and parabens. The creators from Woohoo! Body, Aaron and Phoebe have spent a long time perfecting the perfect natural deodorant. I don't think you'll be disappointed :) Visit Woohoo! Body. |
