We all want to look our best at all times. We might not have paparazzi catching our every move as we head to the shops, walk our pets or make our way to an appointment like the stars do. But still. You never know who you might bump into when you leave the front door. But not all of us woke up like Beyonce. So how do you look flawless 24/7? Well, it’s all to do with preparation. Here’s how you can turn up like a princess and make it look natural and easy. Diet A huge part of hitting societal standards of beauty is having clear skin. But how do you get clear skin? Well, it’s partially down to genes and hormones, but your skin is also greatly affected by your diet. Just remember to always drink eight glasses of water a day. This will keep you hydrated and your skin is glowing. Dark chocolate, yoghurt, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, peppers sunflower seeds and kidney beans are all great for your skin. Make sure you eat at least a little of some of these foods every week. Exercise This will give you a healthy glow. You sweat out toxins and your general health will improve. This will show in how you look. Sleep Not many people would describe dark circles as a thing to aim for. Make sure you get your eight hours of beauty sleep every night. Get yourself into a good sleep-wake routine and your bags will lighten and grow less noticeable in no time. Skin Routine
Have a good routine when it comes to cleansing your skin. Exfoliate once a week at least with an exfoliator especially formulated for your face - you don’t want to be too rough with it. This will remove dead and flakey skin and keep your complexion glowing. Wash well with a soap or face wash that suits you. Organic and natural formulas are best. Use your hands or a damp muslin cloth. Pat dry with a towel and moisturise. Do this when you wake in the morning and before you sleep at night. Makeup Makeup isn’t necessary. If you feel happy and confident without it, then don’t feel like you have to make yourself up before you go out. But equally, if you enjoy using makeup and like the way that it makes you look then load it up. Never let anyone tell you what you should and shouldn’t do when it comes to makeup application. Just remember to always wash it off before you go to sleep. Use cruelty-free brands, and when it comes to foundation, it’s better to invest in a brand that will allow your skin to breath and apply smoothly than a cheaper brand. If a special occasion is coming up, why not treat yourself and hire a mobile makeup artist. These professionals will come to you and get your makeup on point in your home. What’s not to love?
